Grim’s Orchard and Family Farms

Though fall is usually the busy season, Grim’s Orchard is open in the spring and summer with lots to offer! During the spring and early summer you can head over to the farm to pick your own strawberries with cherries (along with sweet potatoes and other vegetables) becoming in season in mid-June. While you are there enjoy some of their freshly made food and s’mores packages through the end of June!
George Schmidt Berry Farm
5681 Berry Drive, New Tripoli, PA
Looking for a little variety? George Schmidt Berry Farm is a great place to visit. The farm in New Tripoli has a great selection of you-pick fruits and vegetables that run throughout the summer and fall. In June stop by for strawberries, rhubarb, sour cherries and sweet bing cherries! In July you can find blueberries, red raspberries, black raspberries, apricots and a variety of vegetables. In August peaches, blackberries, plums, nectarines, cantaloupes and watermelons all come into season. Be sure to hit the ATM first because this farm is cash only.
Bernard’s Green Valley Farm
2925 High Hill Rd, Slatington
Looking for the best blueberries around? Bernard’s Green Valley Farm specializes in blueberries and offers a variety. The blueberries are fully ripened around the end of June so be sure to stop by around then. The farm also sells pre-picked raspberries so you can get all of your favorite berries in one trip!
