Lehigh Valley Winter Classic Hockey!
What better way to spend a cold winter day than by watching hockey? The 2021 Lehigh Valley Winter Classic is still happening this year, but it will look a little bit different.
The annual hockey tournament will still be played but due to COVID restrictions spectators will not be allowed to watch on site. Luckily organizers have come up with a creative solution allowing fans and families to watch digitally! You can even pick up a Winter Classic t-shirt or sweatshirt to wear while you watch to feel like you are sitting rink-side.
The day’s other festivities have also been moved online and are available to everyone. You can participate in live auctions and raffles to win great prizes and support the hockey league. 100 percent of the proceeds from the raffles, auctions and merchandise sales benefits the Special Hockey of the Lehigh Valley Polar Bears, a hockey league for youths with Autism, Down’s Syndrome, brain injuries and other cognitive disabilities.
You can find a schedule of events on their website as well as links to raffles, auctions and merchandise for sale. Also follow along on Facebook for up-to-date information regarding the event and schedule.
Are you a business who would like to support the hockey league? You can easily become a sponsor of the event and get your name out there to fans and families alike.
